Collection A-2000, a division of Alphavic inc. is specializing in the manufacturing of upholstered furniture since 1977.

Collection A-2000 controls every step of production by an entirely computerized system. The organization is divided into different workshops (wood, metal, upholstery, sewing, paint...) and is under the direction of a very dynamic research and development team.

Collection A-2000 is a distinct and innovative company. Its three major market fields are :

* Accessory chairs for decoration with wood colours and a wide choice of fabrics;
* Leisure chairs with mechanisms such as :
-- Glider swivel or swivel
-- Glider swivel recliner
-- Recliner
* Living room sets from these different styles : « recamille », « recamier », « boudoir »...

Collection A-2000 also distributes its products on the Canadian and international markets.

Sales department
At Alphavic inc., the sales supervisor works in close collaboration with the controller in order to satisfy the needs of the customers and the market. A research and development team assists this department in the development of new concepts and products.

Control room
Two computer systems are used to back up the production process. The first system controls the orders to determine the requirements in manpower and raw materials. The second system controls the start-up and the follow-up of the production in order to ensure the best possible service according to the quality/price ratio.

Frame
Structure is a vital part of furniture design. All wood and metal parts are either assembled, screwed on, stapled, glued or welded according to specifications. Inside this department, an experienced team works meticulously with first quality materials to make sure that the frame is sturdy and durable.

Cutting
Alphavic inc. Works with a wide variety of fabrics and leathers. The cutting team takes special care in matching the patterns and ensuring the quality of the colorings. The leathers are hand cut to avoid the waste of fine material and to ensure maximum quality.

Sewing
Once the material is cut, it is assembled by experienced seamstresses according to the company’s quality standards.

Upholstering and finishing
The upholstering team uses first quality rubber foam to give shape the furniture and make it comfortable. The design is completed by the addition of fabrics and wood ornaments.

Inspection and packing
All furniture is inspected before being packed and shipped to its destination.
